Due - Reminders & Timers App Reviews

Best reminder app!

Ive tried lots of reminder apps and none compare to Due! I also love that I can set and save timers and have several running at once. And being able to quickly add time to a reminder if I cant do it when it comes due is awesome. I highly recommend this app.

The best just keeps getting better!!!

I love this it is better than the Native IOS reminder app. I also love the sync feature. I feel like I can conquer the world now plus be on time to do it.

my most used app

Due has become essential to my daily workflow. The big wins for me: - it hooks into Apples native Reminders app - has Dropbox integration for sync - the configurability for alerts is the best Ive found

Great app

You have to be creative if you want to find out if youre available at a certain time (one option: start every reminder with a date and code words such as "before lunch" or "after lunch"... then search accordingly to check your availability). Other than that it is golden. Never get stuck realizing you didnt start preparing for something at the time you meant to start! Need to make a phone call 6 months from now to set a an important appointment... done. Its a really useful app.

Best Timer on iOS

tl;wr: Buy the app, get the in app purchase-- it really is that awesome. I know what youre probably thinking: "Why do I need a timer app when theres already a app included on my phone that does this?" Two words: Auto Snooze. This feature allows you to be notified when a task, reminder, or timer is due and gently nudge every so often until the task is marked complete or the time is reset. Lets say youre like me a need a reminder to stop playing video games and get back to work. I set a timer for 30minutes and an Auto Snooze of 1 minute. When my timer is up at 30 minutes, I get notified. When I dont clear the alert, I get notified at 31 min, 32 min, 33 min, and so on. This allows me to finish a level or get to a stopping point while not leaving the door open for me to play another three hours. Due is also a place for reminders and tasks that need to be completed. The "date and time picking" interface is great and easy to use. While I personally dont use this feature as much, when I have used it, it has been quick and painless. Seriously, if you ever need to set a timer or remind yourself of something AND you need a little bit of nagging to get it done, this app is the one you want. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Doesnt work anymore

Last update ruined the app. It no longer works as advertised. I bought this to help remind me of things to do to help my ADHD and it worked really really well, now it doesnt make any sounds and I only see my reminders if i pick my phone up. If i unlock it theyre all gone unless I pull down notifications. This app is useless now.

"Due" lives on my task bar.

Reminders" is free so why pay for "Due?" Because "Due" will gently nag you until you either accomplish the task or consciously postpone for a set amount of time. At which point the nagging starts again. If that sounds annoying consider how annoying it is to look at a regular reminder, think "oh yeah Ill do that shortly" and then you forget anyway. "Dues" interface is super simple which makes "Due" an app I use multiple times per day.

Has become essential

This app quickly moved from a brief experiment to my home screen. Super-helpful for recurring reminders and excellent snooze functions. Watch integration is very strong, too. Had a few problems with the initial iOS 10 upgrade, but the developer quickly fixed them and provided good info about what to expect.

Needs fixing

I used to live by this app and its nagging alerts, but since ios10 its been terribly buggy. Just last night I put an alert on 5 min snooze, and the snooze just came on this morning, over 12 hours later. Please fix this app!

No longer useful

I count on the alerts to run until I manually snooze them or mark them done. The latest update takes it away. I will be looking for a new app because this is no longer useful for me.

Elegant, beautifully designed, super useful.

The nag me every five minutes until I do it feature is exactly what I needed, and just the kind of thing a phone is super useful for. The app is very attractive and a pleasure to use. Well done!

Good app...with Today Widget would be great!

I love everything about your app with one big complaint--I was very surprised and disappointed that you dont offer a Today Widget. If a functional widget (that lets you tick off an item without opening the app) was added, this would be my go to task app and would get five stars.

Love this. Keeps me looking like a superstar

I write down everything to do and then organize as to when I will do it. Everyday I can reorganize and prioritize. Mainly I love the persistent reminders to make me aware of something until I do it. I used to have to write urgent things on my hand!

Endless Alarms No Longer Exist

Previous versions of Due would endlessly nag you. It was ideal for stuff you absolutely need to do. Unfortunately, this functionality is gone. The alarms now stop if you keep snoozing them, making the app much less useful.

Great app for reminders, but crippled by iOS 10

This app was *perfect* for nagging the bejesus out of you to take medicine or pay rent or anything else that you *have* to do. Now the app is way less useful because an iOS 10 limitation means that it will nag you 10x at most and then fail to nag you ever again unless you open the app explicitly. I hope something is being done on Apples side to fix this because it was a great app that I recommended and even bought for friends. Its not the developers fault but it really does cripple the app.

This app used to be perfect until iOS10 now its broken and half useless

This app as the heartbeat of my life. And now that I have figured out how to link it to other apps.. holy cow.. Thanks for fixing this.. folks..

This *was* one of the best

This app used to be essential. I recommended it to so many people. Unfortunately a change in iOS 10 has rendered it useless. It used to nag you until you completed. Whatever you set you got done. Now, the notification triggers a few times and then stops. If you get a call or a text and engage with that, you can easily lose track of your reminders. I really hope the makers of this once awesome app can work something out with Apple to restore it—because nothing comes close to how awesome this was.

Stupendous!

Due simplifies reminders to get important stuff done on time. I dont spend my time tinkering with a GTD system for every little reminder, at the expense of actually getting things done. Due lets you nail down a future task or event at a specific time with ease, and move on knowing you will be reminded. Due also lets you quickly set dozens of reusable reminders for rubbish day and birthdays. Crazy irregular timing is easy. Also Due provides a raft of new and reusable timers for fussy coffee brewing and other timed tasks. Due has been around (and on my home screen) since my first iPhone in 2008. Use it/Love it many times a day. Watch the launch video. I learned new tricks after all these years.

Broken after update

Please bring back the old version. The notifications arent doing their jobs anymore. It just auto snoozes after a certain amount of time. Maybe a widget can help alleviate this issue and renew the timer for notifications?

Great potential, poor syncing

Still same issue after major update. If the developer could get background sync to work properly across devices, this would be a terrific 5 star app. Without solid sync, however, it is often annoying -- as changes on one device are not reliably updated on others. I am using the Dropbox sync option, which the develop recommends!
