Due - Reminders & Timers App Reviews

Why no widget in pull down menu

This is a brilliant app in every way. It is the very best in its class. However, because it does not have the iPhone pull down widget feature , I never use it. If they do add the "Widget" I hope you will be able to check off / complete tasks as in Wunderlist, as opposed to just showing the list as gTasks mistakenly does.

Life saver

Ive used this app all day, everyday for years. Highly recommended.

Auto-snooze changes lives

The new notification snooze options in the latest update are great, and put this app head and shoulders above the rest for keeping you on task without getting annoying. My request going forward would be for more auto-snooze options, like two or three minute intervals. This would help because every minute can be a bit too much sometimes. Also, every minute notifications will overlap with any other notifications coming in, which takes away the snooze and done option on Apple Watch. All you have is "Dismiss." I use both Due and Omnifocus to keep me on task on iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch. I use Omnifocus to manage assignments, projects, and lists. I use Due for the day-to-day reminders like taking vitamins, leaving dinner, and even to drink coffee. The auto snooze is phenomenal. For example, Ill used to make coffee and forget to drink it. Now, I have a tap on my wrist every few minutes to take a drink.

V1 working great

Still using the last version of V1. No issues. Loving it. Update: updated the app from v1 to v2 today by mistake. Bad move ever. The developer screw over old customers by removing features that we originally had in v1. COME ON. Would you like it if apple asks you to upgrade to a new iOS but then remove features that you have to pay for get it back? Up to you to decide if you want to support him or not. App is worth 4 stars though. Update feb 13 2016! Do not buy. Support is non existent. Yes I have emailed in politely a couple of times. The developer is having fun on Twitter but the app hasnt been updated in a while and doesnt reply to emails. Its been a couple of months. The app claims to have stuck notifications when I delay an item but this app is the only app that "claims" to have this problem. I have to keep going into the app and close it to "fix" the problem. Sounds like incompetence to me. Anyone having the same "problem" as well? Update 2 March 2016. Still no replies from the joker. But at least the notifications seems fixed. Not tested. Took a long while. Old-customers-paying for-the-app-again issues aside, I hope it got fixed this time. Or the joker can just give up maintaining the app. Update 3 March 2016. Notifications still stuck/broken. The dev is a joker for sure. Going back to one star. Note: this is a good app, this is the reason why Ive stuck with it for so long. I just dont like how the developer ignore legit support requests and remove features that old users already paid for. If he wants more money, old users will gladly pay if he fix bugs and add NEW features on top of existing ones, not remove them.

So stinking useful!

I spent a lot of time being finicky with task management and reminder systems, and Due is the very best for many categories of reminders (trash out, contact some one, etc.). I wouldnt even consider an app without auto-snoozing notifications now, and the input system has unparalleled efficiency for quickly entering realistic tasks. This is the best example I know of an app designed for real people.

Love it

Completely rely on this thing

My go to for tasks

Simple, intuitive and, most importantly, dependable.

Most effective productivity app ever purchased

If you are a scatter-brained multitasker, get on this! Ive been using Due for years utilizing the timers for laundry etc., but the powerful, simple and fun upgrades to recurring reminders has really helped me staying on top of the little things I must accomplish on any given day. Id go on but Due is reminding me to stop procrastinating and reply to some critical emails!

Changed my life

Fantastic for both regular (take out the trash, floss) and one-time tasks alike. Now that I have a daily 4pm reminder to floss my dental hygiene has improved dramatically. App gets regular updates and bug fixes as well!

The only reminder app I use (or need)!

First off, this is the first app Ive liked enough to write a review for! Ive tried umpteen reminder & organizer apps & deleted most of them for being clunky or not helpful. DUE is genius in its simplicity! Its unbelievably fast to create reminders that are completely customizable! For example, my "every 2nd Tuesday" work meeting...unbelievable how many apps & calendars wont let you do that! I use DUE, I love DUE. You will too. If you are on the fence, just DUE it!

Love it but has bugs

I love this app, its simple and keeps reminding me until I mark a task done. There are only two things that drive me crazy but theyre so bad it brings it down to 3 (otherwise a big 5!) stars. The sync between my iPhone and iPad is nonexistent. I have to mark something complete on BOTH devices or hit snooze on BOTH devices. And the missing Apple receipt? Really? I have to "refresh" my receipt almost once a week. These two problems are about to result in me finding a new app.

So easy to use

This is intuitive. I love how it can nag you with 1 min intervals. I use this app along side my native alarm when off silent. So simple.Apple watch support is intuitive as well

Very smart

I prefer this over other reminder apps for when I need the versatility of different snoozes on the fly and also the recurring reminders to keep on my plate. Glad they fixed the snafus across Apple Watch and other devices so now works as it always should have

Love it!

Perfect for what I need. The developers keep improving this app with useful options. Dead simple, yet powerful enough to use for most of my reminders.

The best just keeps getting better!!!

I love this it is better than the Native IOS reminder app. I also love the sync feature. I feel like I can conquer the world now plus be on time to do it.

The one app I would be lost without

Auto snooze reminds me first top do the thing and then to check out off. It saves me from wondering hours later if I really did take that pill or not.

Simple and effective!

Due makes it easy for me to set up custom reminders. I use it daily for work and personal use.

If you have trouble remembering things

This app is amazing. If youre busy like me and need help remembering tasks download this app immediately. I use this all the time.

Despite being a life saver, developer rarely updates app.

This app is the most used app I have and I buy a lot of apps. Its beautiful and does what it is supposed to do, but the Developer seems to have other priorities. That said, this app lacks such ubiquitous features of similar reminder apps that make usability difficult. The lack of a Notification Center widget, and share sheet extension since iOS 8 (7?)is really unacceptable considering iOS 10 is just around the corner.

Great, but......

If one tries to enter a reminder for the current day, it shows up on the watch for tomorrow and on the phone for today. If you try to change it, it still maintains the difference. There is no provision for unscheduled reminders on the watch. It will import unscheduled reminders to the phone app from the Apple app. However they will not appear on the watch. Suggest getting rid of that useless timer screen on the watch and put unscheduled reminders there.
